UCM - Experience Day - 3 October 2019

During an experience day at University College Maastricht (UCM), prospective students get in-depth information from UCM staff members and students about the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme.

Current UCM students are present to tell you all there is to know about student life in Maastricht and you will have the opportunity to experience our small-scale interactive education method: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yourself.

This Experience Day is specifically meant for students who are interested in the bachelor’s degree: Liberal Arts and Sciences of University College Maastricht (UCM)

11:55 - 12:40 Tour of the UCM building and the surroundings
12:40 - 13:15 Lunch (provided by UCM)
13:20 - 13:35 Presentation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)
13:35- 14:20 PBL pre-discussion
14:20 - 14:40 Lecture
14:40 - 15:20 Self-study for PBL
15:20 - 16:05 PBL post-discussion
16:05 - 16:40 Q&A session with UCM students
16:40 - 17:00 Day closure

For the parents

Are your parents coming along too? If so, they are welcome to attend the presentations in the morning and a Parents’ Café from 10:45-13:15. It is an informal meeting where parents get all their remaining questions answered.

Please note that the lunch and the afternoon programme is only for students.
